Codice della felicità: Triptofano e Serotonina
Il processo:
Serotonin is the neuromediator of inner calm, confidence, and protection from anxiety. Your brain cannot get serotonin directly from food. It must build it from a unique amino acid — tryptophan. Depression, anxiety, and breakdowns are often not a psychological issue, but a simple cellular tryptophan deficit.
Biohack segreto (Trasporto):
Tryptophan struggles to enter the brain because other amino acids outcompete it. To cross the barrier, it needs “transport” — a light insulin release. So the ideal anti-stress meal pairs protein (tryptophan) with a small portion of complex carbs.
Obiettivo giornaliero:
Baseline for mood support: 300–400 mg per day (about 4 mg per 1 kg of body weight).
For exiting anxious/stress states, the dose can rise to 1000 mg (1 gram) per day.
