1. Data we collect and how we use it We collect and process data you enter into the app yourself: name, email, body measurements, goals, and logs of nutrition, water, activity, micronutrients and sleep. This information powers the service, saves your progress and syncs it across your devices. 2. Protection of sensitive information Menstrual cycle settings (start date, cycle length) sync with your account through the same secure Firebase infrastructure as your profile, so they restore after reinstalling the app. Calculated hormonal figures are computed on your device from your daily logs and cycle anchor. 3. Third-party data processors Personal data is protected from sale to third parties and from use in targeted advertising. We use the following third-party processors to operate AMAI: - Google Gemini API (Google): processes text, photos and PDF files you send to Chef AMAI to generate responses. - Stripe: processes payment data for web subscriptions and Prime Protocol checkout. - Open Food Facts and USDA: receive product search queries when you look up foods in the nutrition diary. Technical sync of profile, nutrition and activity logs uses Google Firebase secure cloud infrastructure with servers in the European Union. Database access is limited by strict technical and organizational security measures. 4. Camera and microphone access Chef AMAI may request access to your device camera and microphone. The camera is used for food photo recognition and barcode scanning; the microphone is used for voice input in the chat. Images and audio are sent to the Gemini API only when you explicitly attach or record them. 5. Chef AMAI chat storage Your Chef AMAI conversation is stored securely in the cloud, linked to your account, and syncs across your phone, tablet and browser. We keep only the last 30 messages to personalize menus and advice. When you delete your account, chat history is permanently removed along with your other data. 6. Encryption and security All data transmitted between your device and our servers is protected with TLS encryption. Data stored in Firebase benefits from Google's encryption at rest. 7. Account management and data deletion You keep full control of your data: access, edit and account deletion are available in profile settings. After a deletion request, technical backups are kept for 30 days (for possible restoration), then erased permanently. 8. Your rights You may at any time: - request access to your data and a copy; - correct inaccurate data; - request deletion of data; - restrict or withdraw consent to processing; - receive data in a portable format; - lodge a complaint with the data protection authority in your country. Analytics With cookie consent, basic interface-usage analytics (for example, how often screens are opened) may be used to improve the product. These data are anonymized and serve product development. 10. Age of users AMAI is intended for users aged 16 and older. Processing of younger users' data takes place with a parent or guardian's consent. 11. Medical disclaimer AMAI works as a tool for independent tracking of nutrition, sleep and lifestyle, outside the category of medical devices. Metrics, analytics and recommendations are informational and computational, based on data you enter, and complement advice from a physician, dietitian or other qualified professional — especially before meaningful changes to diet, sleep or lifestyle. 12.
